Lotus is one of Asia’s beloved blossoms as it is not only lovely to look at, it is also an important food source because it’s roots, leaves and stems are all edible and nutritious. If you are lucky you might also catch a glimpse of sōtōren (two-headed lotus), a rare breed of lotuses during full bloom period.
