Ainosuke Kataoka – the kabuki actor who played the fabulous queer tax auditor in Japan’s highest TV rating drama to date ‘Hanzawa Naoki’ – has finally tied the knot with drop-dead gorgeous actress Norika Fujiwara at Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto. The voluptuous bride, draped in traditional Japanese bridal kimono Shiromuku, entered the shrine’s ceremony hall together with the groom while he was holding a red bangasa (umbrella).
Other than being a World Heritage site, Kamigamo Shrine is also well-known for being a great matchmaking spot, so much so that even the author of The Tale of Genji Murasaki Shikibu herself came to pray for love at this very shrine! Kamigamo Shrine is an even better place to celebrate your love and union, and our team at Tagaya Bridal look forward to helping you realise your dream wedding in Japan.
