For this post, we are happy to share with you the wedding celebrations of one of our dress consultants at Grand Pages! Ms. N happily tied the knot with her beloved at our very own St. Andrew’s Church in Kyoto.
A typical Japanese wedding usually involves the bride wearing a Western white dress and exchanging vows in a church (like in the west) or hotel. Reception follows after the ceremony, where the bride would usually change into a colorful (non-white) evening dress or even a kimono! Ms. N opted for the latter as she received praises when she wore a furisode to a friend’s wedding, and decided to wear a hikifurisode (similar to furisode but for brides) for her own wedding!
If you would like to wear a Japanese bridal kimono as well but already have your wedding venue booked somewhere not in Japan, fret not; kimono photo shoot packages are available too at Grand Pages! Feel free to inquire here for more details!
We wish Ms. N and her husband an everlasting and blissful marriage!
