Hello again to all our readers! Vanessa, our Taiwanese columnist, is here again to bring you on a tour around Kyoto Hanatoro, which we have introduced briefly before. This year, Kyoto Hanatoro is being held in Higashiyama, a district east of the old ruling city in Kyoto.
Hanatouro, which means ‘path of flowers and lights’, is held every year in early spring. A temple representative of Kyoto in Higashiyama district will set up LED lights around the antique constructions and streets. The lights bounce off the pavement, giving the illusion a dazzling walkway and a warm glow around the area. Don’t miss out on Kyoto’s exclusive illumination event!
